Pre-game before all the Purim parties with cool shows this week

There’s cool concerts every night this week! Today, Yung Yidish hosts a unique rock’n’roll concert in Hebrew and Yiddish. Tomorrow, check out a Pink Floyd tribute show by Echoes at Charles Bronfman, or catch Eran Zur’s Rock Trio at Barby. On Tuesday, alternative rock star Daniela Spector joins classical pianist Shlomi Shaban at Hatarbut. On Wednesday, see rock legend Berry Sakharof at Reading 3, or dance to 90s/2000s Eastern music classics with King of Cassettes at Barby. On Thursday, local singer Eden Hason performs at Menorah Arena. KULI PURIM WEEK 🥳

Starting Tuesday: Party the whole week with fun festive events

Our favourite bar Kuli Alma is back with its traditional Purim Festival – with 6 days of partying, costumes, and decorations! Starting on Tuesday, catch a free live show by hip-hop star Vibe Ish. Local DJs spin free parties on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday afternoon, legendary Emirati DJ Bliss and special guests perform. On Saturday, German DJ Beatfoot joins local DJs and crews like Kunty Klub and Beez in the Trap. The week wraps up Sunday with a live show by Middle Eastern rockers Boom Pam. Always the best parties in town!

One of the highlights of any public holiday in Tel Aviv is street parties, and in Purim the parties are especially festive as thousands of people take to the streets in costumes. The main parties are on Friday afternoon, head over to the Kerem, Levinsky Market, Ben Tzion (Voodoo are hosting a big party) and Florentin (check out the block party at Hoodna Bar and Galliano). Over the years, Bicicletta’s annual Friday afternoon Purim Party BiciFest has taken on a mythical status for its festivity and debauchery. This year the crew are decamping to HaMeretz 2 – taking with them top local DJs, wicked decorations, outrageous costumes, and the craziest people in the city. Known for some of the best techno parties in Israel, the E-Boded crew are returning to Haoman 17 for their annual Purim daytime rave on Friday afternoon. Teder host their annual Purim party on Saturday afternoon

Tel Aviv’s most hipster hangout Teder host their Traditional Purim party on Saturday afternoon with fine local artists, the best DJs, wild art, and many more surprises! The party starts at 12pm until the next morning, spread across the whole Beit Romano complex and flowing into Park HaMesila. If you can’t wait till then, check out Purim Service on Friday afternoon with wild performances for the whole family, a cosmic jazz concert, a psychedelic duet by Maayan Linik and Yonatan Levy, and for desert – Shaman Shaman brings his hip-hop set. The parties continue through to Purim Day on Sunday

It’s crazy – we’ve had all these parties and it’s not even really Purim yet until Saturday night / Sunday day! As you would expect, there are some amazing parties on Sunday – don’t miss Israeli rappers Subliminal at the Shalvata day-party; a beach party with Red Axes at Blue Beach; JTLV’s rooftop BBQ with an open bar, DJ set, and fun young crowd; and wrapping up the night at the wild party at Emesh. Clear your head and move your body at a festival in the desert

Are you ready for a psychedelic weekend? We know you are! Two major Purim festivals in the desert start Thursday and run through Saturday. First, the traditional Myco crew hosts their annual Purim party featuring nonstop music, art, workshops and surprises at Hazeva.
