International Women’s Week Tel Aviv 2018

Now, more than ever, there’s a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity. There’s a strong call to #PressforProgress motivating and uniting friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive.

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Tel Aviv is taking part this year with empowering meetups, concerts, parties, and action.

School of Shine – School of Shine is a women’s community dedicated to inspiring happiness from within. School of Shine hosts unique events and offers proven tools to help women infuse more positive habits into their daily lives. Events include walking groups, Coffee, Kegels and Conversation meetups, and more.

Women in Digital – Women in Digital Israel is a professional organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting Women in their digital careers through networking, lectures, workshops, courses, mentoring and employment opportunities.

Lesbians Who Tech – Lesbians Who Tech is a gathering of women in the queer community in and around tech, chatting over drinks.

She Codes – A group for programmers, future programmers, entrepreneurs, engineers, students and other curious women who have a common interest in programming, technology and entrepreneurship. They have regular events to meet people and learn about programing.

Girls in Tech Tel Aviv – Girls in Tech (GIT) is a global non-profit organization focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of influential women in tech space. They meet up once every month or two.

Tel Aviv Derby Girls – Roller Derby Israel – A roller derby league from Tel Aviv, Israel, calling everyone to come and join them!

The Longboard Girls Crew Israel – A diverse group of riders from different corners of the globe who want to build a community and encourage girls of all levels to grab a board.

Tel Aviv Ladies Social Club – This is a group for the girls of Tel Aviv and surrounding areas to socialise, meet each other and exchange ideas of fun activities.

Cafe XoHo

Cafe XoHo is your home away from home in Tel Aviv – a relaxed and cozy cafe where you can meet friends or plugin your computer to do some work – the deco is cool artsy urban, the food is delicious (all natural, vegetarian and home-made), and the service is always with a smile.

Cafe XoHo is the brainchild of superwoman Xoli Ormut Durbin. Xoli was born in Hong Kong to Canadian parents and lived in Australia before coming to Israel.
