This 30-dunam (7.5-acre) park is located in the southwestern part of the city, between the trendy Neve Tzedek quarter and Eilat Street. It is built on the route of the old Ottoman railway, which was once used to connect Jaffa and Jerusalem.
Park HaMesila is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Start your walk with famous hipster spot – Teder, where you can get one of the best pizzas in town and catch a cool concert or a party at Rafi Club.
Want to sit and enjoy the view? Right next to Teder there’s a new pasta place Lava and a restaurant Mirage, with the menu inspired by famous Israeli chef – Eyal Shani.
The park is designed for pedestrians and cyclists. There are walking and biking paths, as well as benches and areas for relaxation. The park also has a lot of trees and plants, so you can cool off with some natural shade.
Near the end of the park you can catch a new light rail – Elifelet (check out Secret Tel Aviv Metro Guide to see all new metro stations) or explore Park Hatachana (an old rail station).
