Carlebach station is currently the main station for the Lev Hair (Heart of the City) area of Tel Aviv. TLV Fashion Mallis next to the station entrance, and Shenkin Street and Rothschild Boulevard are a 10 minute walk away. There are also lots of office blocks nearby housing Tel Aviv hi-tech companies. Other local highlights include the Cinematheque, Habima, the Charles Bronfman Auditorium (home to the Israeli philharmonic), and cute park Kiryat Sefer.
Favourite Bars and Restaurants in the Area: There are a few local gems in this area. Delicious bakery Zeit für Brot is a great stop for a delicious pastry, local Thai favourite Onauma and Thai cocktail bar Kab Kem, delicious fish restaurants Abie and Batshon are in the neighbourhood, and celebrity hangout Cafe Tachtit.
