WAKE UP 💪
Tonight: Protest for more female representation in the government
Despite years of progress towards gender equality, a mere 14% of the coalition’s 65 Members of Knesset (MKs) are women, with even fewer holding senior government positions. This is a major setback for women’s rights and issues. Join us tonight at Habima as we raise our voices and demand change. Women from all political backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, and communities are invited to participate, as are men who support our cause. More details on the Secret Tel Aviv website.

What’s been going on in the Best Community on Facebook!
It’s been another amazing month in Secret Tel Aviv. Here are some of our favourite posts:
Humans of Secret Tel Aviv: There are so many amazing people and stories in Secret Tel Aviv. Shir helped Fadi find a job (the CEO of Israel Railways even reached out to him after this post!), Rossy from Venezuela is looking for a job for her dad, Daniel from Sweden is looking for work, and Raz found help for a person in need. There were also great stories from Elli being stalked by Matti Caspi, Fla spotted Sting on Allenby (hilarious comments), and Nofar started a dating thread.
Protests about judicial reform have been in focus this month, and the community has been taking part – Aviram and Alon shared some great pics from Habima, Eliran captured some pics from around town, Henri caught the hitech protest, and Sagi had a well thought out solution to the problem.
Around town: Balcony collapsed on Hayarkon, car swallowed by sink hole, we’ve had crazy storms, this guy tied his car to a lamp-post, Knafeh Shenkin had a great advertising campaign, another lost credit card, Israeli Marketing 101, check out this brave builder, this delivery guy covers all his bases, and we love these three stories dating stories from Sara, Oz, and Shani!
Inspiring entrepreneurs: Oleh Nick offers sailing classes, Lior can help women around the house, Alina is a hairdresser from Ukraine with 18 years experience, Ben is an amazing artist, Rinat has a new book, Lee is selling beautiful bongs, and if you’re looking for parking check out Roy’s post about Pumba (they’re also our group sponsor – download their app!). Thanks everyone for sharing!
