Where are you watching Argentina vs Spain on Sunday?

After a month of drama, upsets and late-night screenings, it all comes down to this! Will Messi lift the World Cup again, or will Spain add the biggest trophy of all to their recent run of European titles? Kick off is at 10pm on Sunday and Tel Aviv is going all in, with bars, fan zones and outdoor screens across the city. Watch at favourites like Mike’s Place, Molly Blooms, Kuli Alma, Schnitt and more, or head to the free World Cup 360 Complex at Charles Clore Park for giant screens and full football atmosphere. Festival Season is back – check out our favourites, starting tonight!

Some of the best nights this summer won’t be in Tel Aviv – they’ll be at festivals across the country. Our new guide brings together our favourite music festivals in Israel, from desert trance weekends and indie gigs under the stars to sunrise sets at Masada and Midburn madness. Next Week: Beer lovers, this one’s for you!

The Lauter bar on Givon Square is already our favourite Tel Aviv spot to discover craft beer – with over 400 craft beers, tasting sizes and a team that knows what they’re pouring. Next week they’re going even bigger with a huge beer festival on Monday and Tuesday – with 50+ taps from Israel and around the world, including Schnitt, Malka, Negev, BrewDog, Duvel and the first-ever Israeli launch of Barcelona Beer Company. Every Saturday: Frishman turns into Copacabana!

Saturday afternoons at Frishman are getting a Brazilian upgrade. The XI Mobility Footvolley League is back, with Israel’s top players and Brazilian stars competing on the sand every week until mid-August. FREE JAZZ NIGHT 🎷

Saturday: A perfect summer evening with Beit Haamudim at Park Hatachana

The Summer Jazz Series at Park HaTachana is back for a third round this Saturday after another packed night last time. Park HaTachana teams up once again with legendary Tel Aviv jazz club Beit HaAmudim for a free open-air evening of live music, with acclaimed trumpeter Assa Kook leading two special performances alongside some of Israel’s top jazz musicians. Saturday: One of Israel’s top hip-hop stars throws a huge show

If you’ve never seen Tuna live, this is a great place to start! He’s playing Barby this Saturday, known sharp flow and a sound that blends hip-hop with local Middle Eastern influences, Tuna is especially good live, so with this format it should be fire! PHILHARMONIC FEST 🎶

Next Week: The Israel Philharmonic gets a summer twist

The Israel Philharmonic Summer Festival takes over HaTarbut next Thursday to Sunday, with four days of concerts across three halls and 11 different programmes. The lineup goes well beyond the usual classical format, from Igor Levit performing Schubert, Chopin and Beethoven to a tropical chamber night celebrating Brazilian composers, a 70s disco tribute, jazz-meets-classical performances, and a special night with Shlomi Shaban joining the orchestra. 👉 Find more info and more culture events on the Secret Tel Aviv website.

Next Week: A weekend of local design and craft at Jaffa Port

Next Friday (July 24th), Beit Hamecholot is bringing together dozens of local artists, ceramicists, illustrators, jewellery designers and independent brands for two days of shopping right by the sea. It’s one of our favourite places to discover local businesses, and you’re guaranteed to leave with something unique. MASSIVE FEST 🔥

Next Saturday: A free 10-hour open-air reggae and dancehall festival

Next Saturday (July 25th), one of Israel’s best reggae festivals ‘Massive in the City’ is taking over Haoman 17 for 10 hours of open-air music, with DJs playing reggae, dancehall, dub and Caribbean sounds throughout the day! Closing the night with a live show by Bazzi B, one of the biggest names in Israeli hip-hop and reggae right now.
