Soho House is taking the world by storm, and in 2021 opened up in Tel Aviv Jaffa! It’s more of a private members club than a hotel, but if you are lucky enough to be a member they have 24 bedrooms available to stay (in off-peak times some of the rooms are also available to non-members for an additional cost). The rooms range from small 18m square spaces to large 60m square mini-apartments.
Based in a historical building in Jaffa, built in 1883 for nuns of St Joseph, Soho House is a 5 minute walk from Old Jaffa, and a short taxi ride from central Tel Aviv. The attention to detail within the building is beautiful, with a marble staircase, terracotta tiles, a picturesque garden, and a small pool and lounging area to relax. The restaurant serves traditional middle-eastern Mediterranean food and is accompanied by an extensive wine list, and there is also a trendy bar with delicious cocktails.
