Since its founding in 2010 by Amnon Shashua and Ziv Aviram, OrCam continues to develop innovative technologies, with their most recent production of OrCam MyEye 2.0 in 2017.
Valued at $1.3bn, OrCam became a Unicorn in 2018 after a $30.4mn funding round, acquiring most of the funds from Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings and Meitav Investment House.
