The Dead Sea is the world’s lowest point located almost 1000 feet below sea level. As well as visiting and floating in the Dead Sea, another cool place to visit nearby is Masada – the last refuge for the Jews against the Roman Empire in AD 73. We recommend climbing Masada at sunset, or visiting one of the cool concerts that are staged there every year.

Much thought and imagination were put in to creating an authentic Bedouin oasis, with buildings of natural stone, lamps made of salt crystals from the nearby Dead Sea, wooden furniture decorated with iron art work, colorful fabrics constructed with stone tools all contributing to the magic of Kfar Hanokdim.
