Ok, so its going to cost you an arm and a leg to stay here… but if you can afford it, this is the best hotel in Tel Aviv at the moment. The Norman opened in 2014, setting a new benchmark for luxury boutique hotels in Tel Aviv. Located two minutes from Rothschild Boulevard, the hotel is set in a converted and enlarged 1920s mansion, specked up to the highest standards, with a beautiful infinity pool on the roof, a top-class restaurant, and the best customer service in Israel. Montefiore 36 | $$$
Another beautiful boutique hotel in central Tel Aviv, created out of the conversion of a 1920s heritage building, the hotel has 12 unique elegant rooms specked to the highest standards. The restaurant is also well-known in Tel Aviv, famous for its amazing breakfasts.
Nahalat Binyamin 1 | $$
The Poli House (by Brown Hotels) opened its doors recently and quickly became an icon! Its beautiful design and unbeatable location made it one of the favorites among tourists. It is a boutique hotel that combines modern and bauhaus designs without sacrificing luxury. The Poli House has a beautiful rooftop with a pool that often hosts parties. It also has a wellness spa with a wide menu of treatments.
Kalischer 25 | $$
This hotel is situated between the beautiful Rothschild Boulevard, the trendy Neve Tzedek, and the lively Shuk HaCarmel and Nahalat Binyamin. It has beautifully designed rooms, a well equipped and charming spa, and a great rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of Tel Aviv. It is also a lot cheaper than the Norman and Montefiore hotels.
Yavne Street 23 | $$
An excellent little boutique hotel situated besides the beautiful Rothschild Boulevard. Each one of the hotel’s 15 luxury rooms is decorated in its unique and different style bohemian, and there is a relaxing lounge area on the rooftop. In the evenings, you can reserve a table at Alma Lounge (Chef Restaurant – Yonatan Rochfeld) and enjoy a wonderful evening in the amazing atmosphere.
Rothschild Boulevard 96 | $$
Tel Aviv’s first real luxury boutique hotel, The Rothschild still exudes class and elegance. The Hotel design combines influences of diverse cultures. The hotel is built to reduce the impact on the environment, and most of the furniture has been lovingly built by local craftsmen. It also has the perfect location, in an iconic building on Rothschild Boulevard.
Lilienbloom 48 | $
Tel Aviv’s newest boutique hotel opened in July 2015. With a great location on Lillenbloom Street, two minutes from Rothschild Boulevard and next to the very fashionable Abraxus North Restaurant and Bar, the hotel has a chic urban style and a solarium and terrace.
Brener Street 21 | $
With a great location just off Shenkin Street, 2 minutes from the Shuk, and 10 minutes from Rothschild Boulevard and the beach, the Shenkin Hotel is a great choice for someone who wants a boutique experience on a budget. The hotel also has a lovely roof terrace and spa, although beware there is no restaurant.
Mazeh Street 56 | $
The Diaghilev is a sister hotel of the Rothschild Hotel. The rooms are large albeit a little simple – but the location and atmosphere are great. The hotel is a hi-tech hub, hosting a Startup Accelerator and regular technology meetups. It also regularly hosts art exhibitions and has a bar to network or wind down after a long-day at work.

The hotel is an original Bauhaus-style building that previously held the Esther Cinema, one of the first cinemas in Tel Aviv. The hotel’s unique design, complemented by some of the original projectors and movie posters, preserves the legacy of the building. Breakfast is served at the neighbouring Cinema Hotel.
