Plastic Free

Plastic Free Israel aims to educate, motivate and inspire individuals to be role models for each other. We research and share up-to-date information about pollution in Israel and around the world and are working hard to find partners and products that offer sustainable, locally available solutions and alternatives. We also host cleanups – they’re fun, social and free for all to join. Check out our event page to see when the next ones are. More info.

Straw Free

Our mission is to reduce the harmful effects of single-use plastic straws on our planet and our health, and create awareness surrounding the issue. Ultimately, we seek to reduce the use of disposable plastic in Israel and the world, and encourage more environmentally friendly consumer habits. More info.

Zalul is one of Israel’s leading environmental NGOs dedicated to protecting the seas and rivers of Israel. They accomplish their mission through conservation, activism, research, awareness-raising, and education. Zalul challenges Israel’s existing power structure and strives to bring the issues of water preservation and environmental protection to the forefront of the Israeli public. More info.

Green Course

Green Course is an activist organization that works to promote a just and sustainable environmental policy, with the aim of influencing decision-makers to work towards widening the circle of environmental and social justice in Israel. They work to prevent state authorities, corporations and human beings from harming natural resources and all systems that support the continuity and proper functioning of society and the natural environment. We are an English-speaking group in Israel dedicated to creating a local atmosphere to promote social and professional networking and to increase knowledge, awareness, and involvement regarding environmental issues. More info.

Adam Teva v’din

Our focus is on the human, lived-in environment. We are involved with issues of air and water quality, preservation of rural and urban open spaces, waste management and recycling, coastline conservation and environmental justice. We provide pro bono legal, technical and planning assistance and representation to thousands of Israelis every year through our Green Alert environmental help center. More info.
