Where to dance, drink, and have fun in Tel Aviv

Tonight head over to Ala Rampa for a Brazilian Forro party, Blues&Booz band perform British rock at Jimmy Who?, and Kuli host a live concert with rapper Avri G. Tomorrow Israeli indie rock band Pie O My throw a party to celebrate their latest album at Rafi, and the Tulsi Jaan trio performs some Bollywood songs at Tarab. On Tuesday there are cool concerts with rapper Shmuel at Barby and Ishay Berger at Ozen Bar, and Camel Riders take over Shalvata. And on Wednesday DJ Darwish has a techno line at Sputnik. NEW EXHIBITIONS 🎨

Three inspiring exhibitions open up this week

It’s a great week for art in Tel Aviv! After huge success earlier in the year, the Wonderland Pop-Up Exhibition returns to the Imperial Hotel with 38 new rooms from 58 talented artists, all curated by the wonderful Yaara Sachs. Also starting today, don’t miss the new exhibition Nonfinito at ArtPort – the end-of-year exhibition of Artport’s residency program, that explores alternative realms and utopian visions. Starting Wednesday is the A-Genre Festival at the Tmuna Theater, a four-day festival that’s all about thought-expansion and imagination-stimulation. TEL AVIV GROOVE 🍹

Culinary pop-up food festival starts tomorrow with top international chefs

Get ready for delicious food, spicy cocktails, and groovy music! Tel Aviv Groove is a culinary pop-up series that brings together the best of Israeli cuisine with chefs from around the world. Four leading international chefs will arrive in Tel Aviv to create festive special evenings at the best and most famous chef restaurants. Tuesday: Barcelona and Maccabi Tel Aviv Legends @ Bloomfield

Some of the greatest players in Barcelona’s history – including Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, and Thierry Henry – are coming to Israel for two exhibition games against Maccabi Tel Aviv Legends and Maccabi Haifa Legends on Tuesday night at Thursday night respectively. WHISKY LIVE 2023 🥃

Wednesday-Thursday: Sample rare Whiskies from all over the world!

Israel’s most important whisky event returns! Whisky Live 2023 is coming to Expo Tel Aviv on September 6-7. It’s the perfect opportunity to sample rare whiskies from around the world, learn from international experts, and enjoy workshops and tastings. Wednesday: Snuggle up to iconic movie Groundhog Day @ Gan HaPisga

Every Wednesday in September there’re free outdoor film screenings on a huge screen in the historic Gan HaPisga park in Old Jaffa. This month’s theme is “Time,” and they’re kicking things off with a screening of the iconic romantic comedy Groundhog Day! Saturday: Teder turns into the Playa with annual InDTeder party

Get ready for top music festival InDNegev with a special pre-festival party InDTeder at Teder next Saturday afternoon – with live performances in the square from 4pm and an afterparty at Rafi (InDNegev is 12-14th October – there are still tickets available). Also next Saturday, there’s a cool free concert at Kedumim Square in Jaffa with Haïm Ulliel and Sfatayim and a Brazilian Party at HaMashbir. Check the Secret Tel Aviv website for more cool events.

We’ve added over 100 new jobs in the last week

We’ve added over 100 new jobs to the Secret Tel Aviv Jobs Board over the last couple of weeks. Highlights include: Payoneer are looking for Customer Care Associates – Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese speakers and a Contact Center Shift Manager; Incredibuild are looking for a VP Customer Success; MyHeritage are looking for a Head of Paid Search; ArtLink are looking for an Art Logistics Coordinator; and Ply Media are looking for a BDR.
