The Tulsi-Jaan trio presents a selection of popular songs from the Indian film industry – in new arrangements, in touching performances in the original language, playing traditional Indian instruments and combining explanations of the music and songs.

Exciting love songs, songs of heartache or joyful music – Bollywood songs manage to convey a whole world of emotions in a few minutes. The sweeping vocals and the rich music evoke simple joy and along with them memories and longing, and a sense of closeness and identification with a world that is seemingly far from us, yet close to the heart.

This is a special show that is a glimpse into a rich, colorful and exciting cultural world.
The band members come from a rich and extensive background in classical and popular Indian music, and are also active in genres. Various musical genres such as jazz and world music.
The ensemble appears on various stages throughout the country, and has received special appreciation from the Music Repertoire Committee of the National Culture Basket.

וגעגוע, ותחושת קרבה והזדהות לעולם שלכאורה הוא רחוק מאיתנו, ועם זאת קרוב ללב.

זהו מופע מיוחד שהוא הצצה לעולם תרבותי עשיר, צבעוני ומרגש.
חברי ההרכב מגיעים מרקע עשיר ונרחב במוזיקה ההודית הקלאסית והפופולרית, ופעילים גם בז’אנרים
מוזיקליים שונים כגון ג’אז ומוזיקת עולם.
ההרכב מופיע על במות שונות ברחבי הארץ, וזכה להערכה מיוחדת
מוועדת רפרטואר מוסיקה של סל תרבות ארצי.
