TODAY (THURSDAY)

Pick up some new clothes at T:Market, then hit the town

Start the Weekend in Style! This afternoon check out local designers at the T:Market Pop-up Market (till Saturday), the last day of the Icon SciFi Festival @ Cinematheque, and a Graffiti Exhibition in Jaffa Port (till Sunday). Tonight: Israeli rapper Atar Mayner @ Barby, and big parties at Gargarin and Duplex. Get out of the City… take a tiyul to the Kfar Saba Food Festival, the Carmiel Beer Festival, the Tamar Music Festival in Masada, and the Shwaya Nature Party in the North. FRIDAY

Cycle TLV – The Bikes take over the city (same as any other day)

Get active! On Friday morning Grab your helmet and cruise the streets for Cycle Tel Aviv’s Annual Race, Volunteer at the Beach Cleanup with PFI @ HaPirza Beach, get a taste of Nazareth at the Nazareth TLV Artists Fair @ Abraham Hostel, and get a taste of India at the Ba Li Thali Indian Festival @ Papaito. SATURDAY

Parties, concerts, shopping, and a very special birthday party

There’s something for everyone on Saturday! Party between the palm trees with Exodus @ Park HaYarkon, and Sunset to Sunrise party with Technodrome; check out some cool local bands at the One-Festival with Echo @ Barby; Update your collection at the Romano Record Fair @ TEDER; and Tel Aviv’s world famous home of Israeli modern dance Suzanne Dellal celebrates 30 years with special events. SUNDAY

Simchat Torah – that feeling you get when you finish a great book

There’s only one thing better than finishing a great book… starting a new great book! On Sunday night and Monday Jews celebrate Simchat Torah – when they finish and restart the readings of the Torah. MONDAY

It’s a day off – another reason to party!

No Work, All Play! Rave hard at afternoon parties with top local DJs at Olympus Garden @ Haoman 17, and Secret Circus in North TLV; Grab some beer and pizza, and jam out to the ‘Godfather of Dub’ Scientist @ TEDER; party to Storchi’s new album at HaEzor; and chill out with Swiss synthpop DJ Schade @ Herzl 16. The Dude abides! Kerem House is screening the Big Lebowski

Grab some popcorn and pull up a chair for three film screenings: cult classic The Big Lebowski @ Kerem House; King Bibi @ The Prince; and The World is My Country. Improve your Hebrew – new semester begins at TINAU

It’s a New Year, and a New Semester at top Tel Aviv Hebrew school This is No An Ulpan. Classes begin on October 27th, and they offer 4 levels of Hebrew (and Arabic). Tiesto leads an action packed couple of weeks

Get tickets before it’s too late! Next Thursday world class DJ Tiesto returns to Tel Aviv, Israel’s top music festival InDNegev kicks off, and Israeli music legends Machina, Ehud and Eviatar Banai @ Live Park Rishon.
