Tomorrow Tel Aviv turns into one giant festival as Laila Lavan finally returns. One of the city’s most beloved traditions, the celebration of Tel Aviv’s Bauhaus heritage is one of just three nights a year when loud music is allowed all night long. This year’s highlights include a midnight-to-sunrise festival at Charles Clore Park with Skazi and Eviatar Banai, a free Assaf Amdursky and Red Axes show at Gan HaPisga, and an immersive night of opera, dance and DJs at the Israeli Opera. 👉 For all the best parties check out our Laila Lavan Guide (also in Hebrew).

FRESH PAINT 2026 🎨

Starts Today: A giant industrial site becomes Tel Aviv’s coolest gallery

Fresh Paint returns today, taking over a huge former electric company complex near Hashalom Station before it’s redeveloped. Running until June 29th, one of the city’s biggest cultural events brings together galleries, emerging artists, designers, large-scale installations, talks and live performances. There’s also a special Laila Lavan programme tomorrow night. Tonight: Brazil vs Scotland and Morocco vs Haiti

It’s been a great World Cup so far! England are stuttering, USA finally look like a decent team, Haaland, Mbappe, Messi, Ronaldo and Harry Kane have all scored, and Turkey are already on their way home! Tonight’s headline match sees Brazil take on Scotland – will Neymar finally make an appearance – do they even need him now they’ve got Cunha?! One of our favourite community events is back tomorrow as Nefesh B’Nefesh and the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality bring Shuk Olim to Givon Square from 5pm, with dozens of olim-owned businesses selling everything from art, fashion and jewellery to food and handmade products from around the world. When Teder puts on a market, you know it’s going to be a good day! This Saturday, Beit Romano fills up with dozens of local artists, designers, vintage sellers, record collectors, florists and small businesses, alongside cold drinks, good food and DJs playing all afternoon.
