Looking to get out of Tel Aviv and learn more about our awesome country? Looking for something fun to do with kids and adults alike? We recommend a one-night stay in a Bedouin Tent – learn about Bedouin culture, optional activities like camel riding, great Bedouin food, and best of all spend the night sleeping under the stars in the middle of the desert. Here are two of our favourites…

This camp provides visitors with a jam packed, fun-filled desert experience. You have the choice of sleeping in the spacious tents that they provide, the guest cabins, or if you have camping equipment, pitch your own tent for the night! They offer a few amazing activities: camel rides, safari tours, and rappelling! There are workshops that you can partake in, or just sit around the campfire and listen to a story from Sheikh Salem. Make sure you come with an empty stomach!

Set in the middle of Israel’s vast desert, this beautiful oasis has become quite the attraction. The accommodations are unique-looking, and shine with middle-eastern authenticity. Sit around a fire, sip strong coffee, followed by sweet tea, and learn about the lifestyle of the Israeli Bedouin. There is also a camel tour that takes you on a half-hour stroll through the Negev! When night falls, sit around a campfire with other visitors, or explore the encampment. Enjoy the still beauty and starry sky of the wide-open desert!

Address: Arad, 8911501 (will show up in google maps)
