Tonight: “No rally? No problem!”

We were pretty surprised last week when the official annual Rabin Peace Rally was cancelled, and so were lots of other people! In light of the cancellation, people from across the country are calling on the public to come to Rabin Square tonight to hold our own memorial event. No politicians, no political speeches – just thousands of people remembering and celebrating Yitzak Rabin and his legacy. So join your fellow mates to take part in a magical night of hope! Last rave of the summer!

The top international DJs are returning to Israel! Tonight Dutch DJ Mike Williams has a special set in Desert Club Rishon… in recent years Mike has become a dominant DJ in the scene performing on the mainstage of Tomorrowland in 2019. He’s accompanied by a great line-up including LYGER, Roc DĹŠbloc, Mor Avrahami, and WHITENO1SE. Last tickets available here.


Death to Plastic and a Vegan party!

Urban parties with environmental agendas! This Friday Gagarin Club hosts a Vegan Party and BBQ to celebrate its new vegan menu, including delicious plant-based burgers from Redefine and 50% off all arak shots; or make your way to Levontin 7 for the Death to Plastic Festival with live music and mingling. First Friday margs and good food!

Unwind from the weekly grind! Connect with young people in Tel Aviv with two fun and welcoming Shabbat events Friday night. Chabad on the Coast hosts their First Friday Margaritas – join young professionals for a night of singing, inspiring words, handcrafted margaritas and small bites! Local designers fair on Saturday!

Time to refresh your winter wardrobe? Head over to Drama this Saturday afternoon for a huge pop-up market with second-hand clothes, local designers, prints, records, and more, followed by party late into the night to celebrate your new purchases. Also this week, don’t miss Dressed by Danielle’s 3-week fashion pop-up on Shenkin – stylish second-hand clothes plus cool workshops every evening. Shake your ass Saturday!

Dance and drink beer to Brazil’s most popular music! On Saturday Gugys Toys Factory hosts a special Brazilian party with DJ Felipe Castro, and if you get there early enough there’s a beginners ForrĂł class – no prior experience needed, just come learn how to dance ForrĂł and enjoy Brazilian vibes and music! No more violence against women!

“Because if you can not dance to it, it’s not my revolution” – Prepare for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on Monday with an evening that will make your heart beat faster! All proceeds will fund activities of “Her Academy”, which works to rehabilitate the employment of women who are in or want to get out of situations of prostitution and violence, through professional training in a variety of fields and employment guidance. Join 25,000 runners next Wednesday!

Next Wednesday Tel Aviv’s Night Run is back! Join 25,000 runners traversing 10km through the city in front of tens of thousands of cheering spectators, followed by a party in Park Hayarkon! Registration is open until November 8th, good luck to all the runners! Check out the event.


Kis-Keys, Monti Fiori, Metropolin…

What a week for live music! Tonight the Russian rock group Kis-Keys brings their pop punk to Gagarin and Efor Hayeled celebrates 30 years of rock @ Barby; next Tuesday Monti Fiori takes over Kuli Alma and Stella Got returns to Herzl 16 in full force; and next Wednesday an awesome show from Metropolin @ Barby. Exhibitions all over the city!

There is never a lack of art in Tel Aviv! On Thursday choose from a plethora of amazing exhibitions: HaGra Street 28 hosts “CPR”, a performance of visual art that will guide you into spiritual transcendence; Magasin III hosts “I, Mountain”, a mythical-mystical encounter with the last astronaut on earth; and Maya Gallery hosts a solo exhibition. On Saturday, CCA Tel Aviv hosts Nicholas Halbo and his exhibit of intertwined copper pipes of serpent heads.
