Starting Tomorrow: Israel’s biggest animation festival @ Cinematheque

Calling all animation lovers! The Animix Festival is back at Cinematheque for its fifth year, and it’s bigger and better than ever. For five full days, you’ll be treated to a smorgasbord of animated films, from full-length features to short films to experimental shorts. Laugh your way through the week with these three hilarious stand up shows

Laugh so hard your abs will pop out this week! Tonight (Monday) take part in The Stage’s Last Laugh Comedy Competition Grand Finale @ Polly Bar; tomorrow, there’s a hilarious Stand Up show by Olim in TLV; and on Thursday, TLV Laughs are back with a new comedians line up @ Hoodna Bar. Thursday: International pop star performs @ Live Park Rishon

Christina Aguilera, the multi-platinum selling, Grammy Award-winning superstar, is bringing her 25th anniversary tour to Live Park Rishon on Thursday, August 10. You may know her from the iconic “Burlesque” movie or from her hits “Genie in a Bottle” and “Dirrty”, either way this is her first time performing in Israel, so don’t miss it! Live shows from Omer Adam and Hanan Ben Ari

Tel Aviv is the place to be for fans of Israeli music this week. Sing along to “Tel Aviv Ya Habibi” with Omer Adam at the Menora Mivtachim Arena tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday. The beat is going to drop in Tel Aviv

Hip Hop is in the town this week! Today catch five rising female rappers in the contemporary scene at Hoodna for a night of fire. Two concerts on Thursday: One of Israel’s best rappers, Teddy Neguse, is taking over Ha’Gra 28; and comedy rapper Lukach @ Ozen. On Saturday, hip-hop star Tuna is bringing the heat to Barby. Get into the playa vibes with parties by Unity Tribe an Camp Paradise

The countdown to Midburn is on, and the camps are starting to heat things up! Starting Thursday, Unity Tribe presents Tribal Summer Music Festival – a spiritual music festival and Shabbat camping experience all in one. World class musical is coming to The Opera House this August!

Matilda, winner of 99 prestigious international awards, is coming to the Opera House – starting today. Written by Roald Dahl and produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company, Matilda tells the story of an extraordinary little girl, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, who dares to take a stand and change the fate of her life. Join Plastic Free Israel, Secret Tel Aviv, and The Lowy International School at Tel Aviv University for this month’s beach cleanup on Friday, August 25th, at Midron Yaffo Beach.
