The Pride Parade is Friday – don’t wait until then to celebrate

Pride Week is here, and Tel Aviv is turning rainbow. The main event is the famous Pride Parade on Friday – the largest in the Middle East – winding along the Tayelet before finishing with a huge celebration at Charles Clore Park. Before then, Gan Meir becomes the heart of the festivities, with the LGBTQ+ Center hosting the Drama Queen Festival throughout the week, the legendary Wigstock drag spectacular tonight, and the massive Women’s Rave tomorrow. The World Cup starts tomorrow… where are you watching the games?

The next month now has a schedule. For the next few weeks, sports bars and makolets across Tel Aviv will be filling up with football fans, last-minute allegiances and people suddenly developing strong opinions about countries they’ve never visited. The biggest star in Israeli music is taking over Ramat Gan

Tel Aviv, ya habibi Tel Aviv! Omer Adam kicked off the first of four stadium shows at Ramat Gan Stadium last night; and he’ll be back tonight, tomorrow and next Monday (June 15), bringing tens of thousands of fans together for a huge week of live music. His songs have become part of the national soundtrack – playing everywhere from weddings and beach days to Independence Day parties and long drives home. Welcome to Tel Aviv! Two great book fairs to stock up on your summer reading

Hebrew Book Week is back this week, celebrating 101 years of getting people excited about Hebrew books! Sarona will once again fill up with book stalls, discounted titles, author meetups, launches and events for readers of all ages (until Thursday, June 18th). A very short walk away, the Tel Aviv-Yafo Book Fair returns to Cinematheque Plaza, bringing together around 70 independent publishers, talks, workshops and plenty of opportunities to discover books and smaller presses you won’t usually find in stores (until Saturday). PARTIES FOR BOOK NERDS 👀

Tonight: Beit Radical takes over Beit Ariela with books, poetry and jazz

As part of Hebrew Book Week, Beit Ariela and Beit Radical are teaming up for two evenings that feel more like literary house parties than traditional book events. Tonight, Beit Ariela brings a Russian literature book club, live poetry backed by a jazz ensemble, a podcast recording, zine-making workshops, and even a session on how to actually read. Then the celebration continues next Thursday (June 18th) at Beit Radical with communal reading spaces, ambient live music, book swaps, literary debates, and readings by writers and guests sharing their favorite passages. Every Wednesday: Catch all the best movies at Gan HaPisga this June

The summer movie nights at Gan HaPisga continue tonight with The Truman Show, the classic Jim Carrey film about a man who slowly realizes his entire life is just a reality TV show. It’s part of a month-long series focused on illusion, perspective, and stories where things aren’t quite what they seem. The screenings take place outdoors in Old Jaffa with sea views, a giant screen, and free entry. Still to come this month: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (June 17) and Tropic Thunder (June 24). Tonight: Music, drinks, and new connections at the Israel Philharmonic

The Tel Aviv Arts Council is hosting one of its popular young professionals evenings at the Israel Philharmonic tonight, bringing together English-speaking olim for a social night of music and culture. The evening features Holst’s The Planets with video art projections, a pre-show drink, and the chance to meet fellow culture lovers and members of the orchestra. Tonight: Assaf Amdursky and Red Axes are taking over Barby

Two of the most influential names in Israeli music are coming together for a special night at Barby tonight. Assaf Amdursky will perform his acclaimed 1999 album Silent Engines in full, while Red Axes bring the psychedelic electronic sound that has taken them from Tel Aviv clubs to festivals around the world. Every Thursday: One of the city’s favorite summer traditions is back at Arte

Some things just feel like summer in Tel Aviv, and Arte’s Thursday jazz nights (pic above) are one of them. Every week, live jazz takes over the little square outside Arte Glideria on Nahalat Binyamin, with two hours of music, gelato, and people hanging out long after sunset. Tomorrow: Pride Weekend Starts Here! An All-Star Female lineup at Gan Meir

Pride Parade weekend officially begins tomorrow with the Annual Women’s Rave at Gan Meir. One of the biggest events of Pride Week, it brings together some of Israel’s most-loved female artists, including Dikla, Shira Zloof, alongside leading DJs and thousands of women for a huge free celebration in the heart of the city. Afterwards, the rest of Tel Aviv takes over too, with Topless at Gila & Nancy, Crush at Dama, Mistermiss at Hangar 11 and PrideRave at Haoman running late into the night. PRIDE PARADE 2026 🏳️‍🌈

Friday: The biggest Pride Parade in the Middle East is finally back!

After two years without a regular parade, Tel Aviv Pride Parade is finally back in its classic format this Friday. The march kicks off at 1pm from Shalag Street near Gordon Beach, making its way down the promenade before ending at Charles Clore Park for the main celebration. This year’s theme is “Vote With Your Feet”, focusing on equality, freedom, and democracy, with thousands expected to join one of the biggest days on the city’s calendar. The main stage will feature live performances throughout the afternoon, includinghgyt Netta Barzilai and the finalists of the city’s new Pride Song competition. Saturday: The biggest Pride anthems, the city’s biggest Pride Icon

It wouldn’t be Pride without him… Offer Nissim has been at the heart of Tel Aviv’s gay club scene since the 80s, when he was running underground parties at the Theater Club that helped shape the city’s LGBTQ+ community into what it is today. Now one of the most famous DJs in Israeli electronic music, his annual Pride concert at Park HaYarkon has become a tradition of its own – a long set of new material, surprise guests and the classics that locals people dance to under the open sky. Friday-Saturday: A Free weekend of art, music, and local culture at Jaffa Port

The Legal Art Market is launching its first edition this Friday and Saturday at Beit HaMecholot in Jaffa Port – a new urban-cultural project bringing together the most exciting local brands, artists and creators in one place, with a full programme of music, art and community events running across both days. Friday opens with local DJ sets + a live indie-pop show by Ice Hokku Duo. Saturday: Local favorite club is celebrating it’s birthday the whole day!

Six years in, Hive has become one of those places that feels like home to a lot of people in this city – and on Saturday they’re celebrating in full glory.
