Tikkun Chatzot with the composer and composer Ygal Harush
An opening performance for the book “Divan Yagel Ben Yaakov”, a collection of original piyyutim seeking to recreate one of the ancient and exciting rituals of nighttime singing – Tikkun Chatzot.
The performance includes psalms, lamentations and piyutim of requests, along with new compositions for texts from the book, based on the Mizrahi musical medium – the maqam.
