A joint creation by members of Musica Nova, Ways of Listening is a deep dive into the intricacies of sonic entities. By using audio technologies and combining external amplification, acoustic instruments, wireless headphones and noise-canceling headphones, the participating audience will be able to experience phenomena of sound in various ways, while experiencing the complex relationship between sensory perceptions in our human existence. This performance is a laboratory in which the limits of sound phenomena are tested, ranging between the most intimate sonorities to those inducing active vibration onto their environment. Sounds in this environment are to be experienced by us sensory beings – through our ears, body, eyes and from inside our head.
Ways of Listening is performed by Ma’ayan Tsadka, Orr Sinay, Yifeat Ziv and Adi Snir; the performance has a limited capacity of 20 participants for each run.

העבודה Ways of Listening מהווה צלילה עמוקה למורכבויות והדקויות של הישות האקוסטית. במופע נעשה שימוש בטכנולוגיות אודיו המשלבות הגברה חיצונית, כלים אקוסטיים, אוזניות אלחוטיות ואוזניות אוטמות רעשים. המשתתפות.ים יוכלו לחוות את התנהגויות הצליל במרחב הפיזי, האקוסטי והפסיכואקוסטי באופנים שונים, תוך התבוננות באופן פעילות המערכת החושית. זוהי מעבדה חיה בה נבחנות התופעות הצליליות בקיצון, מהאינטימיות ביותר ועד לאלו המרטיטות את סביבתן. הצלילים בסביבת הסאונד הנבנית במהלך המופע מהווים הזדמנות לחוות את דרכי ההקשבה המגוונות הבאות לידי ביטוי בחוויה האנושית – בשימוש האוזניים, הגוף, העיניים, ומתוך הראש.
העבודה Ways of Listening הינה פרי יצירה משותפת של חברות.י אנסמבל מוזיקה נובה. בהשתתפות מעיין צדקה, אור סיני, יפעת זיו ועדי שניר. מספר המשתתפים בכל מופע מוגבל ל־15 אנשים.

العمل Ways of Listening من انتاج أعضاء موسيقى نوڤا، بمثابة الغوص العميق في تعقيدات الكيانات الصوتية. خلال العرض، سيتمكن الجمهور المشارك من تجربة ظواهر الصوت بطرق مختلفة من خلال استخدام تقنيات الصوت والجمع بين التضخيم الخارجي والأدوات الصوتية وسماعات الرأس اللاسلكية وسماعات إلغاء الضوضاء. هذا الأداء عبارة عن مختبر يتم فيه اختبار حدود الظواهر الصوتية ، بدءًا من الأصوات الأكثر حميمية إلى تلك التي تحدث اهتزازًا نشطًا في بيئتهم. يجب أن نختبر الأصوات في هذه البيئة من قبل كائنات حسية – من خلال آذاننا وأجسادنا وأعيننا وعقولنا.
