Vibe Eish (Or Shoshana) chose to dedicate his debut album “The Aliyah” to Aliya Street and South Tel Aviv. The rapper spent most of his life in the less beautiful areas of the city, and in this not-so-simple environment, hip hop was a haven.
He started engaging in graffiti from a young age (as part of the infamous 035 team), and fell in love with the underground hip-hop of bands like the Wu Tang Clan, Mob Deep and Biggie. His first steps as a rapper were with the band “Tala Mobav” he formed with his teammate Kid Cooper. In 2017, the two released an album that shook the local scene with its uncompromising sound. The album came out and made waves, but after a year of the duo’s activity decided to end their joint journey, which left their new and hungry audience in eager anticipation.
Vibe Ish went on his own and joined Shigola Records, the hip hop label founded by Cohen @ Moshon and DJ Mash. His debut album as a solo artist “Aliyah” was released just before the Corona and was soon considered one of the most prominent albums in the genre this year and received press coverage and the single “Julie” from it even entered Galgalatz’s playlist. Among the local hip hop community, and Eve Ish bought his place as the breakthrough of the year.
But like many other recent artists, and Eve no one has yet gotten to meet his audience face to face. The festive launch show comes after a year of eager anticipation from the audience who is thirsty to see the hot rapper of the year do what he knows, and a rapper who can no longer wait to explode on stage.

וייב איש (אור שושנה) בחר להקדיש את אלבום הבכורה שלו ״העלייה״ לרחוב העלייה ולדרום תל אביב. הראפר בילה את רוב חייו באזורים הפחות יפים של העיר, ובסביבה הלא פשוטה הזו, ההיפ הופ היווה מפלט.
הוא התחיל לעסוק בגרפיטי מגיל צעיר (כחלק מצוות 035 הידוע לשמצה), והתאהב בהיפ הופ המחתרתי של הרכבים כמו הוו טאנג קלאן, מוב דיפ וביגי. הצעדים הראשונים שלו כראפר היו עם ההרכב ״תלא מובב״ שהקים יחד עם שותפו לצוות קיד קופר. ב-2017 הוציאו השניים אלבום שהרעיד את הסצנה המקומית בסאונד הלא מתפשר שלו. האלבום יצא והכה גלים, אבל אחרי שנה של פעילות הצמד החליט לסיים את דרכו המשותפת, מה שהשאיר את הקהל החדש והרעב שלהם בציפייה דרוכה.
וייב איש יצא לדרכו העצמאית והצטרף לשיגולה רקורדס, לייבל ההיפ הופ שהוקם ע״י כהן@מושון ודי ג׳יי מש. אלבום הבכורה שלו כאמן סולו ״העלייה״ יצא רגע לפני הקורונה ובמהרה נחשב לאחד האלבומים הבולטים השנה בז׳אנר וזכה לסיקור עיתונאי והסינגל ״ג׳ולי״ מתוכו אף נכנס לפלייליסט של גלגלצ. בקרב קהילת ההיפ הופ המקומית, וייב איש קנה את מקומו בתור פריצת השנה.
אך כמו אמנים רבים אחרים בשנה האחרונה, וייב איש טרם זכה לפגוש את הקהל שלו פנים מול פנים. מופע ההשקה החגיגי מגיע אחרי שנה של ציפייה דרוכה מהקהל שצמא לראות את הראפר החם של השנה עושה את מה שהוא יודע, וראפר שכבר לא יכול לחכות להתפוצץ על הבמה.
