The residents of a residential tower in France discover that a black and murderous void surrounds the building in which they live. Everyone and everything that goes out, disappears and never comes back. The connection with the outside world. The forced closure creates a human capsule and reveals layer upon layer of painful humanity. Time passes and the situation deteriorates towards a bizarre, absurd and hopeless apocalyptic dystopia. A horror drama that discusses the complexity of a multicultural society, lack, identity, fear, hope, humanity and monstrosity. The acclaimed tower comes to us after being premiered at senior festivals, including Sitges and Rotterdam.

From Hollywood cinema to the Athenian theater, from Tolkien to the stories of Gilgamesh, Godzilla, King Kong, minotaurs, dragons and abysses, vampires and werewolves – man fights monsters in literature and mythology, but also in the soul and history, and they always steal the show.
What is a monster? What is a monster in different periods, different cultures, different contexts? How are monsters classified? How do you spell monster? How do you use monsters and monstrosities in understanding the mind, in writing history and propaganda.
And what about monsters from a gender, class, religious and cultural perspective – insects, mice, vermin?
Ah. And sometimes a person is a monster. What does a person have to do to become a monster, is it an action or a state? Innate or learned? Can a man who is a monster turn back into a man? Does every person have a monster, just waiting for the right moment?
Talk about monsters. About monsters that have people in them and people that have monsters in them.

מהקולנוע ההוליוודי ועד התאטרון האתונאי, מטולקין ועד עלילות גילגמש, גודזילה, קינג קונג, מינוטאורים, דרקונים ותהומות, ערפדים ואנשי זאב – האדם נאבק במפלצות בספרות ובמיתולוגיה, אך גם בנפש ובהיסטוריה, והן תמיד גונבות את ההצגה.
מהי מפלצת? מה מפלצתי בתקופות שונות, תרבויות שונות, הקשרים שונים? כיצד מסווגים מפלצות? כיצד כותבים מפלצת? כיצד עושים שימוש במפלצות ומפלצתיות בהבנת הנפש, בכתיבת היסטוריה ופרופגנדה.
ומה בנוגע למפלצות בהסתכלות מגדרית, מעמדית, דתית ותרבותית – חרקים, עכברים, שרצים?
אה. ולפעמים אדם הוא-הוא מפלצת. מה צריך לעשות אדם כדי להיות מפלצת, האם זו פעולה או מצב? מולד או נלמד? האם אדם שהוא מפלצת יכול לחזור ולהיות אדם? האם בכל אדם יש מפלצת, שרק מחכה לרגע הנכון?
