One of the most intriguing, prominent, cheeky and successful pop art artists in the world
After millions of visitors watched it around the world, the original collection of the legendary American artist Keith Haring lands in Israel for the first time. The private collection of Keith Haring is owned by Mr. Gary Cassinelli.
The “Keith Haring” exhibition that conquered the world will present about 200 original works of the renowned pop art artist and one of the most important and influential artists in the history of street art and graffiti in the world. The international exhibition is imported to Israel at a cost of five million shekels, will be displayed at the Herzliya Arena complex (BLACK BOX) starting March 9, 2023 and will cover an area of 1,000 square meters. The value of the works of art is estimated at tens of millions of shekels.
In addition, the exhibition will have elaborate selfie rooms, a rich ‘New York’ drinks bar, an area that will resemble a subway train and many other surprises.
Bringing the exhibition and its production to Israel is believed by ArtHub – the new home for culture and art in Israel from the Forum productions group that produced together in Israel such well-known exhibitions as VAN GOGH, Claude Monet, Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo and more.
The Keith Haring exhibition, which has so far been shown in major cities around the world, including New York, Florida, Doylestown (Pennsylvania), Monza in Italy and more, will arrive in Israel in March. The exhibition of the esteemed pop art artist, who is considered an art and fashion icon, will present about 200 of his works at the Herzliya Arena starting from March 9, 2023.
The exhibition will present:
• An original collection of about 200 works by the artist Keith Haring
• In the culture and art complex THE BLACK BOX in Herzliya Arena
• Beyond Keith’s original paintings, the exhibition will be designed with the help of several Israeli artists and illustrators who will design the appearance of the exhibition inspired by Keith Haring
• A space that resembled a subway – a New York ‘underground’
• New York underground bar/lounge
• Invested selfie positions that will simulate exposure to the mind of the world-famous graffiti and pop art artist
Keith Haring, an American artist and social activist, was born in 1958 in Pennsylvania, studied and practiced the arts from a young age and at the age of 17 came out of the closet. Haring first gained public attention thanks to his chalk drawings in the subways in New York and the painting “The Shining Baby” became his symbol that appeared in many of his paintings. In 1981, sketched his first chalk drawing on black paper and painted plastic, metal and other materials.

The length of the visit to the exhibition is about an hour and a half. The time of the visit is not conditional on the time of departure.
