~~ All are welcome, human beings of all genders, ages, backgrounds, opinions, and ways of life to the sacred singing circle in the heart of Tel-Aviv with dozens of artists and hundreds of participants in the new Rabin Square

The music we play and sing is for everyone to join and sing along.
The circle is powerful because all of our voices become one .

We will all join together for the Singing Circle of songs from the worlds of the Rainbow, Floreceta, Bajans, Kirtan, Hebrew and Quawalli

What is a singing circle?

All the musicians play and sing together in a circle formation, and everybody else joins, whether they’re in or out of the circle. The singing unites to the centre of the circle and creates a magical atmosphere.
Everyone feels, and we all undergo a process together.
That’s why it’s recommended to experience the circle from beginning to end.
The songs’ vibe can be quiet and powerful and can also be happy and uplifting. In both cases the process is the same.

A little about us –

The Unite in Babylon circles started at the end of 2012 in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv and soon spread to city centres all over the world. Once every six months, all the circles get together to a special event that happens at that moment all over the world!

The circles are held as a community initiative with full volunteering by all its creators and participants and their goal is to spread unity and love (especially in a reality like ours) without agenda, religion, nationality, group or organisation.

The circle is for everyone and is completely voluntary! both of the production team, the amplification, the artists, the entrance is free for everyone and highly recommended.

Everyone is invited to join, sing and dance, create a frequency of love, joy and unity.
Our idea is to create great magic together through the sacredness of the shared singing.
Get together in the heart of the city in places that are open to the general public and sing songs that everyone can join in – songs of the heart, songs of the soul.
You don’t need to know how to sing and you don’t need to know the words. Just to open your heart together those hundreds of people who sing and sing together – as one

The circle is open for everyone and keeps going thanks to the friends, the artists, and the community:
A community driven event – by the community, for the community.
It is a non-profit and supported by donations.
This is a Magic Hat funded event where the community members have the opportunity to participate and cover the circle expenses when the Magic hat passes.

הרעיון שלנו הוא ליצור ביחד קסם גדול דרך הקדושה שבשירה המשותפת.
לחבור דווקא בלב העיר במקומות שפתוחים לקהל הרחב ולשיר שירים שכולם יכולים להצטרף אליהם.
שירי הלב, שירת הנשמה.
לא צריך לדעת לשיר ולא צריך לדעת את המילים. רק לפתוח את הלב יחד אותם מאות האנשים ששרים ולשיר ביחד – כאחד.

ללא אג’נדה, דת, לאום, קבוצה או ארגון.
הצטרפנו מספר חברים להפיק באהבה אירוע שכולו שירה ~~~

מעגלי Unite in babylon החלו בשלהי 2012 בכיכר רבין בת״א והתפשטו במהרה למרכזי ערים ברחבי כל העולם. פעם בחצי שנה מסתכרנים כל המעגלים לאירוע מיוחד שקורה באותו הרגע בכל העולם! המעגלים נערכים כיוזמה קהילתית בהתנדבות מלאה על כל יוצריה ומשתתפיה ומטרתם להפיץ אחדות ואהבה (במיוחד במציאות כמו שלנו)

תרבות המעגלים קיימת כבר שנים רבות בתרבויות וקהילות שונות. הרעיון של מעגל זה הוא להביא את הקהילות והשירים להתאחד בלב העיר – במקום אשר נגיש לכל אשר ירצה להצטרף ולשיר.

השירה המקודשת ידועה עוד משחר ההיסטוריה האנושית, היא חובקת עולם וחוצה תרבויות, דתות ושפות. זוהי שירה שבטית, המבוצעת בדרך כלל במעגל, בליווי כלי נגינה מקומיים, ובליווי שירתם של כל חברי השבט. זוהי שירה אשר מאחדת את השבט סביב נושאים משותפים כאמצעי לתקשורת והם בעלי אפקט מדיטטיבי.
השירה במעגל מעבירה מסר של אהבה ואכפתיות בין אדם לעצמו, לחברו, לסביבה ולבריאה.
השירה המקודשת ידועה בתרבויות רבות: קבלות שבת ושירים ממקורות יהודיים, שירה מהתרבות של השבטים האינדיאנים מהאמזונס, שירי מנטרות מדיטטיביים מהודו ואפילו שירים של חופש ואהבה בדור “ילדי הפרחים” של שנות השישים בארצות הברית. ביהדות ניתן למצוא אזכור למעגלי השירה מימי דוד המלך ובית המקדש.

לשירה המשותפת כח רב – כששרים יחד כולם שואפים ונושפים לפי קצב השיר מה שגורם לקצב פעימות הלב להסתכרן ויוצר חיבור בין כולם. חוויה כה מיוחדת שקשה להסבירה במילים.
