Two very different families spend their holidays at the same beach house. One is an eccentric and open-minded, albeit rather selfish aristocratic family. The other family is working class; they make their living fishing and are rooted in hardline conservative values.
What then has brought two worlds, so radically far apart, to spend a summer together? Only Tony and Carlo know. The two elderly patriarchs are about to make an unexpected announcement, declaring their engagement which will throw both families’ holidays, who until that summer had never even crossed paths, completely off course.
The Italian comedy, An Almost Ordinary Summer, became a box-office and audience favorite last winter in Italy and now, TLVfest goers also get to join in on all the laughs and all the ‘feels’.
