About Our Speaker: Moshe Feiglin
Moshe Feiglin is currently the Founder and Chairman of the Zehut Party and one of the most outspoken Israeli politicians advocating the legalization of cannabis. After serving in the IDF as a Captain in the Combat Engineering Corps, he headed Israel’s first company for cleaning windows of high rise buildings from the outside by rappelling. In 1994 he co-founded Zo Arteinu as an act of civilian protest against the Oslo Accords and the continuous waves of terrorist attacks throughout the country. Organizing the largest peaceful civil disobedience protest in Israeli history at the time, crowds simultaneously blocked hundreds of intersections throughout the country during the evening rush hour. Moshe was subsequently arrested and convicted on the rare charge of Sedition.

In 1996 he founded the Manhigut Yehudit faction of the Likud Party, also running for the Chairmanship of Likud against Bibi Netanyahu. In 2013 he was elected to the Knesset and served as Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, actively serving on eleven different Knesset committees including Security and Foreign Relations. In 2015 he founded the Zehut (“Identity”) Party. The party has recently been reported as the surprise of the upcoming elections with most polls seeing Zehut passing the electoral threshold.

Moshe continues to be a sought after guest on leading national TV and radio shows, with his Facebook posts read weekly by over 200,000. He is married to his high school sweetheart Tzippy and is a father of five / grandfather of eight. Moshe is an author of four books, a sofer stam and an avid mountain biker who can been seen every day at sunrise riding 20km through the hills of the Shomron where he lives.
