About Our Gallery: Zemack Contemporary Art

Zemack Contemporary Art (ZCA) aims to deliver a fresh perspective on contemporary art created by Israeli and international artists.

Since its foundation in 2010, ZCA has had a notable impact on the Israeli art scene and is currently considered one of the leading galleries in Tel Aviv. During the first 8 years, the gallery held more than 60 exhibitions, participated in 45 international art fairs, and printed more than 30 artist books and catalogs. We continue to exhibit 5-6 solo shows a year and hold a tradition of special exhibitions such as Gallery Selection of Prominent Art Graduates from the major Israeli art schools and collaborations with established international galleries.

ZCA’s renowned artists have all had solo exhibitions in major international museums. Some examples include Albertina Museum, Vienna; Museum of Modern Art, Moscow; Tate Gallery, London; Israel Museum, Jerusalem: Tel Aviv Museum. Israel; Taipei Museum, Taiwan; Pecci Museum, Italy; CAFA Museum, Beijing; Philadelphia Museum of Art, USA; European Museum of Contemporary Art; and others.

Taking an active part in the lively global dialogue of the international art scene, ZCA supports and promotes its artists globally, exposing its Israeli artists to the major international art markets as well as exposing international artists to the local market. ZCA organizes exhibitions in leading galleries, art spaces and museums in North America, Europe and Asia, and participates regularly in international art fairs, such as Art Central Hong Kong, Art Miami, Art New York, Loop, and Art Toronto. zcagallery.com

About Our Artists: Dede Bandaid & Nitzan Mintz

In this exhibition, the two multidisciplinary street artists, present a new extensive body of work they created together over the past year.

After exhibiting and creating projects all over the world, the two return to Israel with their largest solo exhibition to date, spanning over the gallery’s two floors and featuring over 50 new works. The two artists display artwork that took shape over the last year, but also incorporate previous works they created years ago, some more than a decade ago. The starting point for the decision to work with their art archive was the destruction of a home. The have been working for the past four years in a south Tel Aviv studio that they renovated with their own hands, converted it from an abandoned brothel into a studio and living space. They found out earlier this year that they will have to move out due to a dramatic rent increase.

About Our Organization: Tel Aviv Arts Council
Young Patrons of the Arts Celebrating Israeli Creative Culture

The Tel Aviv Arts Council celebrates the creative culture of Israel by providing a venue for young creatives and lovers of the arts to gather while attending lectures and demonstrations by world class artists, performers, and technologists.

The common theme in our events is a playful exploration of the world around us and the search for something unique that expands our vistas and leaves one with a sense of wonder. All of our private events are nonprofit, but professionally produced to provide attendees with a comfortable environment to engage with the arts community, and take place in various venues throughout our great city.
