I joined Tipalti 6 months ago to manage the group of the DevOps, SRE & DBA teams and started an AWS cost optimization initiative that has led to a 30% decrease in our AWS cost.
In the upcoming meetup I would like to share with you my personal story and experience during this initiative, what I’ve learned, how I learned it and hope to provide guidance to the audience on how to approach a cost optimization initiative of their own.

How to optimize compute and storage services on AWS to reduce your cloud costs. During the session, we will cover AWS different pricing models, how to leverage AWS Graviton instances, how to use S3 cost effectively, and AWS best practices to save costs.

Currently working as an R&D Director at Tipalti.
I Have overall 15 years of experience in IT, with 9+ years in DevOps and cloud technologies.
I started my career in SysAdmin, have led DevOps infrastructure teams and finally as a Director for the past 3 years.
