The Tel Aviv Dance Festival is Suzanne Dellal’s annual Summer Festival and one of the biggest Modern Dance Festivals in Israel. Its mission is to provide access to new dance forms and create communal spaces for the development and sharing of knowledge among dance lovers. The festival aims to invigorate cultural and social encounters between different people and communities by inspiring joy, wonder, and connection.

Throughout the two weeks there will be over 20 performances, including 10 international companies and 7 Israeli premieres by prominent and emerging dance artists.

All I Need

Edouard Hue invents a complex and exciting strategic ballet: ‘All I Need’ is a desperate rush towards self-fulfillment by trying to avoid total confrontation, affirming the fundamental need of humanity.
The participants, inspired by current political figures, are characterized by precise movements and carried away by the quality of these movements. In ‘All I Need’, Edouard Hue puts forward all his know-how to create an intense and virtuoso dance.
Will our protagonists find a way out? Will chaos give way to a lull to rebuild harmony? Come and find out

‘WAKATI’ (A moment) shows in images, dance, and music how we can find support, care, and comfort in our shared experiences in the moments we share with others in our daily lives. The interpretation of this piece demonstrates the power of courage built up through the events that happened in our lives by surprise and led us to patience, attentiveness, and understanding to face challenges or joys.

24th July – Cypher Connection Outdoor Jam – FREE

For decades, street dance practices have served as a significant source of artistic and social inspiration worldwide. Building upon the success of last year, the Tel Aviv Dance Festival is now opening its doors for the second time to both the local and international street dance community. The festival aims to provide dancers and new audiences with the opportunity to engage with professionals from various methods, backgrounds, and histories in the field of street dance.

The Suzanne Dellal Centre strives to invite and accommodate diverse movement languages and dance cultures. It seeks to create a community space that fosters the development and exchange of knowledge among dancers from different realms of contemporary dance and various communities within the street dance scene. The Cypher Connection platform aims to ignite a spark of inspiration, one that will reverberate and unite dance enthusiasts, encouraging the formation of new communities within the local dance scene.
