The Stage is VERY proud to present “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, Rachel Shenkin’s Broadway musical comedy, telling the story of six quirky middle schoolers who are fighting for the Spelling Bee Championship of a lifetime.
With shocking, and touching life stories told along the way, these kids, portrayed by local adult actors, spell their way through a series of words, hoping they do not hear the dreaded “ding” signaling a misspelled word. Six spellers enter, but only one can be the winner of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
