The Mekarer is excited to introduce you to the 3rd annual event “Mekarer 3”
We invite you to celebrate the launch of the gallery and our new bar.
“Mekarer 3” is an independent, multidisciplinary art event in our industrial, underground space which served in the past as the main cooling center for fruits and vegetables for the wholesale market of Tel Aviv-Jaffa. The event will take place over three days and will be filled with activations around creativity & sustainability with the participation of dozens of artists, social entrepreneurs, chefs, and others.
The art exhibition will present video, audio and installation works which deal with the city above and below – secrets, caves, plants and sounds.
Drinks and coffee will be served at our new bar throughout the event.
Line-Up:
6 June
20:00 – Exhibition Opening: A festive evening with an industrial disco atmosphere. Soundscapes by DJ Doule.
7 June
11: 00 -A Meeting About an Artistic/Psychedelic Initiative – The New Dionysian Festival”
12:00 – 16:00 – Robin food in the Mekarer: A lunch market party and sustainability workshops and activities for all ages.
About Robin food: The social restaurant from Haifa will arrive with a full staff of chefs and volunteers, to serve us delicious dishes based on food that would otherwise have been thrown away by the supermarket chains and farmers.
8 June
