East West House - Erlikh 16, Tel Aviv,

After a wonderful tour of Morocco – 15 members of the Piyut Ensemble arrive at the East West House with a unique performance based on the first and most acclaimed album of the ensemble.

At the heart of the performance: original arrangements for songs from the Yagel Ya’akov collection, containing mystical, sweeping and fascinating piyyutim written by the rabbis of the Abuchatzeira dynasty over the last 200 years.

The Piyut Ensemble is a unique ensemble that presents Raanana’s choir singing, stormy and multi-layered. The songs have a definite rhythmic emphasis, and the performance develops into a celebration of singing accompanied by applause, percussion instruments, and more.
