Nalaga'at Center - Nalaga'at Center, Tel Aviv,

From the very beginning, blind people played a key role in the development of the blues. Blind Lemon Jefferson, Blind Boy Fuller, Blind Gary Davis – these are just some of the names without which the blues would not sound so good. How did so many blind musicians come to Beluz?

What kind of music did they do? Is tradition continuing? The lecture will be accompanied by a presentation in which rare musical pieces and a number of songs of the greatest blind musicians of all time will be included.

Yaron Ben-Ami – a lecturer on blues, a history teacher, a former journalist, translator of books, musician and bluesist who released two years ago a blues album in Hebrew called Blues in the Land of Canaan.
With the participation of Nili Seidel, Moran Mazuz and Meir Barbi.
