We are excited to invite you to the first meet-up of the poetry of the city and the library of Beit Ariela!
The purpose of the MTV is to bring together young poets with each other, in order to create a cohesive community of young poets in Israel.
The mitep will be on the topic “Where do I write from?” Where we will host the poet Giora Fisher.
Nathan Zach says: “When the feeling fades, the right song speaks,” is he right?
Will we write about ourselves and the world, as observers from the side, or prefer to write from the heart of darkness.
We’ll talk about these, and about other ways that Giora Fisher chose to write in order to get in his way, to write “The Right Song.”
What’s in the plan?
18:30 – Gathering and organizing.
19:00 – Conversation with Giora Fisher
19:45 – Grouping and carrying out activities around the subject.
20:30 – summary call.
20:45 – dispersion.
