The proliferation of internet platforms and ML/AI technologies in the past two decades has already transformed the job market. However, despite the high-profile of tech companies, both the general public and many of the employees inside the industry are unfamiliar with the high level of reliance on human cognitive work in data processing and the supporting professions within the companies that lead and execute this type of tasks.
The First-Ever-Data-IL-Operations Meetup aims to bring together Data-Operations professionals from across the industry, break the silos we are all working in and start building the foundation for a professional community that will help us expand our field and “put it on the map” of Tech industry.
The meetup will be comprised of two parts:
1. Discussion panel with members from Israel’s top data operations departments (see speakers list below)
2. Round table groups on relevant topics
Audience:
The meetup is designed to bring together people from the various aspects of data operations: data labeling, data mining, data curation, outsourcing managers, taxonomy & ontology experts and more.
