The Borochovs in a festive performance in the yard of an East-West house!

A virtuoso journey of contemporary musicians into the depths of sacred Bukharian music.
The traditional Bukharan piyutim and rhythms ignited a musical flame in the Borochovs, which created a language that was both futuristic and ancient at the same time; A progressive, rhythmic and creative interpretation of the traditions of the Bukhara’s sacred song, the singing of the joys and the singing of the women of the ancient court.

Israel Borochov – composer and pioneer of ethnic artistic music.
Itamar Borochov – a leading trumpet player in the jazz scene, who lives and works in New York.
Avri Borochov – bass player and musical producer, appears with Eviatar Banai, Assaf Amdursky and others.

The three will join some of the leading ethnic musicians in Israel.

Ariel Eliyev – accordion, vocals and doiera.
Aviv Cohen – drums
