The launch of a new IP in ruins. All aliens are welcome. Performance Friday noon, doors 1pm. Tickets 50 in advance, 60 at the entrance.
The new EP of the reggae group Sputnik Hi-Fi talks about ruins. The ruins you see outside and the ruins you feel inside. The ruins disguised as luxury towers and those disguised as modest cabins, like the small house on the outskirts of Hadera where the new songs were recorded.
So let’s follow the songs. Where will they take us? Who will we meet among the ruins?
Whose amstaff is in the bathroom?
Sputnik Hi-Fi play Hebrew reggae with a heavy accent. The sources of musical inspiration are rootsy reggae, ska and underground Russian rock from the Soviet era. The texts ironically reflect the reality of the here and now, and are influenced by South American literature, classical Chinese poetry and problematic messages from outer space. The band has been active since 2014, over the years it released an album, two EPs and a series of singles. Appearing in the indie scene (Labontin 7, Jerusalem Distillery, Time’s Smoke Beer Sheva, etc.), we performed at Indingev and Menashe Forests festivals.
