The “Electro-Vocal Duo” in question Sofi Tukker arrives in Israel as part of the world tour Treehouse for a single performance in Tel Aviv!

Get ready to sweat and love every moment! The 2018 warmest electrochoice comes to shake Tel Aviv with the hits that captured the net.

Sophie Tucker comes to us hot from a world-wide breakout, and they know that Tel Aviv is a must in their victory round. The New York duo is already known for the crazy energies they transmit on stage. They will care to caress you, lift you up, and make love with rhythm, movement, and aces! A performance that is entirely a musical dialogue full of energy with the audience, at an endless party.

When Sophie Howley-Wald and Tucker Halperin met in 2016, they did not know that the first song to be written together would be an international hit. The duo, who first met only two years ago, has since released an EP that shuts down the audio tracks at Spotify and iTunes, receiving Grammy nominations before releasing their first album (!) And starring with their hits in Apple Watch and iPhone X ads.

The duo’s meteoric success, which within just a year has turned from a pair of unknown artists, began with the creation of their first shared song “Drinkee”. Their debut trek became a viral hit, followed by 14 million hits on YouTube and 20 million at Spotify, and was also nominated for Grammy for the Best Dance Recording category, and was chosen as the sponsor of the Apple Watch launch ad.

Tucker, who wanted to be a basketball player at all, and Sophie, who has been flirting with every tool that has been in the field since she learned to crawl, met at Brown University when they all appeared with their own car and have not parted since.

Tucker, who had to retire from a career in the NBA for the first year of college because of an illness that confined him to bed for eight months, changed his entire life and began to teach himself a musical production. Sophie, on the other hand, has been singing and playing since she remembers herself, and met Tucker during the time she recovered from a serious accident that left her confined to a wheelchair for months. All this did not slow the pace of the hot dance duo in the neighborhood, which, within two months of Skype calls and joint creation, released “Drinkee”, Trac Dance in Portuguese, one of Sophie’s favorite languages, which chose it as the most sexy language. The success of “Drinkee” indicates that she is not really wrong.

“Drinkee” is an explosion of color, fun and dance. It begins with Sophie’s guitar tap, continuing with Tucker’s glittering production, with bongo drums, bass pieces and house hits, as Sophie’s caressing voice is the cherry on the cake.

After the success of the debut single released in July 2016 the EP “Soft Animals” which included the treks “Déjà Vu Affair”, “Drinkee”, “Awoo”, “Matadora”, “Moon Tattoo” and “Hey Lion.” The name of the album and the lyrics of some of the songs in it were taken from the texts of poets, creating an extraordinary and successful combination between rich dance music literature and poetry.

Another track they created together, “Johny”, was selected for the FIFA 2018 soundtrack, and their new hit “Best Friend” was chosen to accompany the exposure of the iPhone X on September 12, 2017 and the second consecutive song of the FIFA Games.

The connection between Sophie, who sees herself as a “citizen of the world”, a bookworm and a great fan of Brazilian poetry, and Tucker’s electronic and infectious joy, gave birth to music that magazines and newspapers like Nylon, The Fader, and The New York Times have determined is the hot potato of 2018 Of creativity and high art in club and vocal music, in a stylish and hypnotic package.

Following the many successes of their hits, the two broke through the United States and went to successful world columns, filling time and time with halls of 5,000 or more people at Sold Out. They reach us straight to Hangar 11, for a joyous and stormy musical performance that will not leave a single still in the audience.
