So, not exactly, but roughly!
Snufkinim at Animix – the festival for comic and cartoon animation
Itamar Gilat and Lior Barr come to Cinematheque for the first – and currently the only – of its kind (!) performance + lecture in which, as in every standard Snowpackin performance, combines the songs we loved and grew up listening to, along with a nostalgic lecture, bursting with laughter and teaching about the not-so-important details behind it:
Dolph’s Nazism, the dubious anti-Semitism of the Smurfs, the protocols of the samurai cat elders, the dark truth behind the magic hill from the Moomin, shows we didn’t even understand what they were about, shows we forgot we liked, and lots of other surprises.
There are only a hundred tickets for this thing, at a ridiculous price for every pocket. Attack please!
