Tel Aviv Port is hosting its fifth annual Slichot Festival with the Andalusian Orchestra of Ashdod. The concert will be on October 9th, 2 days before Yom Kippur.
The concert will be held outdoors, towards sunset, the event is open to wide-religious and secular, women and men, children and adults . This is a musical experience that is part of a centuries-old tradition. Forgiveness is served in a variety of liturgical poems and prayers recited in Elul and the Ten Days of Repentance.
The concert will be conducted by Albo Sivan Ben-Hur and Lior Elmaleh accompanied by bards, financing (Manny) Orit Cohen and Atar. The artistic program will include liturgical poems and songs Selichot prayers known as “Lord Sorry”, “El Nora Alila”, “Aneinu Our Father,” “Hear My Voice”, “Mighty and enlightened”, and others.
