Screening of the film “Holyland” and a meeting with the director Anna Somerchef

On Wednesday, January 30, a film by Anna Somerchef, “Holyland”, will be screened at Cafe Shapira. After the film there will be an open conversation with the director.

The film tells the special story of Pastor Solomon, one of the leaders of the Jewish community in Israel, who returns to Ghana to meet the son he left behind.
The film was screened at DocAviv and at international festivals and won the Göttingen Festival and an honorable mention at the Cinema South Festival.
