Synopsis: Matilda, a woman in her sixties, has lived with her husband Porfirio since the age of 15. A life of violence and contempt on his part. One day Porfirio dies, leaving her alone with her cat Fidel. The memories of life with her husband continue to torment her and she is unable to free herself. As if that wasn’t enough, she also loses the pension she is supposed to receive. It is precisely in the midst of despair that she meets a young neighbor, Miguel, and a friendship develops between them that will eventually enable a happy life.
