Cinemateque - Shprintsak Street 2, Tel Aviv,

|| Special screening with a conversation with Dov Khenin and Barak Heiman

“Comrade Dov” is a surprising and thought-provoking portrait of a rare politician who insists on not giving up and not losing hope, even when the complex Israeli reality keeps patting him.

“communist!” “Israel hater!” “Ashkenazi Privilege!”

During his 13 years in the Knesset, it seems that everything has already been said about Dov Khenin.
For a long time, director Barak Heiman accompanied the excellent parliamentarian – who passed more than 100 laws for the benefit of the citizen and was awarded the knighthood of quality government – and created a film that seeks to touch the exposed wounds of contemporary Israel: the evacuation of Givat Amal, Hieran.
