The Stage is holding auditions for Rumors by Neil Simon!
GENERAL DETAILS:
Auditions will be held over 4 days between Aug 19 and 27th. You can sign up in the form above. The show is expected to be performed over 4 dates during the last week of January and first week of February 2021, final show dates are currently being confirmed. There will be a break over the Chaggim. Anyone is welcome to come audition, regardless of previous experience.
AUDITION FORMAT:
For each audition you must perform a short, required monologue, and a modern comedic monologue of your choosing. The required monologue can be found in the Auditions information form above, as well as some example monologues we’ve provided which you are welcome to use.
ABOUT RUMORS:
In Neil Simon’s murderous farce, four couples arrive at the 10th anniversary celebration party for New York’s deputy mayor and his wife, only to find the staff is all missing, the mayor has been shot and is wounded in bed, and the wife has mysteriously disappeared.
ABOUT CORONA:
– Auditions will be held with no more than 5 people in a room at a time, and you, the auditionee, will be at a 2 meter distance from the auditioners.
– Please wear a mask to the auditions venue, however we will ask that you audition without a mask
– You will be required to fill out a health declaration on the day of your audition and your temperature will be taken at the door
– Everything (auditions, rehearsals, show dates) must be compliant with Israel coronavirus restrictions and therefore may be applicable to changes
