Remembering the past – fighting for the future! 14 years after the terrible attack against the gay youth at the Tel Aviv gay centre
We will all gather for a memorial ceremony, a screening of the film “Anonymous” by Udi Mordechai from the survivors of the attack and a concluding panel dealing with measures to help victims of LGBT hate crimes.
In addition to the memorial ceremony, the evening will be dedicated to raising funds for victims of LGBT hate crimes in the past and in the future, and for the needs of establishing an initial aid and support mechanism for victims of LGBT hate crimes to fill the void left by the state in the absence of appropriate legislation and procedures.
The event will take place on Wednesday August 2 at 20:00 at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque

נתכנס כולנו לטקס זכרון, הקרנת הסרט “בעילום שם” של אודי מרדכי מניצולי הפיגוע ופאנל מסכם העוסק באמצעים לסיוע לנפגעים.ות מפשעי שנאת להט”ב.
בנוסף לטקס הזכרון יוקדש הערב לצורך גיוס תרומות לנפגעי פשעי שנאה להט”בים בעבר ובעתיד, ולצרכי הקמת מנגנון סיוע ותמיכה ראשונית בקורבנות פשעי שנאה להט”בית שימלא אחר החלל, שמותירה המדינה בהיעדר חקיקה ונהלים מתאימים.
האירוע יתקיים ביום רביעי 2.8 בשעה 20:00 בסינמטק תל אביב
בהפקת איגי ובשיתוף המרכז הגאה של עיריית תל אביב יפו, האגודה למען הלהט”ב , סמינר הקיבוצים ופסטיבל הקולנוע הגאה.
