We are honored to host Rima Morozov, a Holocaust survivor who will speak at Ulpan Bayit and tell us her life story – survival on the eastern front, and the biography of her family during the siege of Leningrad.

The event was held in cooperation with Zikaron Basalon (Hebrew for “memories in the living room”) which is an organization that helps organize these annual events all over Israel in an intimate and nonofficial atmosphere in order to commemorate this day together.

The memorial and conversation about the Holocaust become more and more important as the years go by and there are fewer people that are still here to share their stories firsthand. We believe that the current events make this discussion even more vital. We would like to thank Zikaron Basalon for helping us in the organization of this event.

Rima will speak in Russian, translated to English by one of our teachers. The entrance is free for Ulpan Bayit Students and friends.
