Beit Kandinof - Hatzofim 14, Tel Aviv,

RW&V celebrates its 10th Anniversary with a grand return to the place it all started, Tel Aviv Yafo. After a decade of successful exhibits in Tel Aviv and NYC, we will be featuring a handful of painters, photographers and video/digital artists who are turning the Tel Aviv art scene on its head with their creativity. The artists include: Co-Host Nini Alfasa, Eve Meir, Alexie Raheli Sportich, Nuphar Kulka, Ryan Rakover, Keinan Vanunu, Orit Shar and Nitzan Fux. The Host Committee is also pleased to announce that The Tel Aviv Arts Council will be co-sponsoring this event, along with our fantastic venue Beit Kandinov and Co-Host Arianna Fornaciai in Jaffa. In addition, we will be accepting volunteers and donating to the Adopt-A-Safta program.

Adopt-A-Safta is a nonprofit initiative that pairs young adults in Israel with Survivors of the Shoah who feel lonely. Working from the Big Brother/Big Sister model, our young volunteers “adopt” a grandmother or grandfather that needs love and attention. Our goal is to train as many volunteers as possible and to connect these two communities; young adults seeking to make meaningful contributions, and the Survivors in need of warmth and connection, while we still are blessed with the presence of this holy generation. Of the approximately 136,000 Survivors in Israel, their number one complaint is simple loneliness. On average, we lose 36 a day, there is no time to waste. We must act now.
