The best international and Israeli artists meet on stage for a weekend of quality music under the warm winter sun in Eilat
A whole weekend of fine and intimate celebration of sounds from around the world and from here – awaits you in the warm and caressing winter version of Eilat. This is the 12th year (!) of the winter edition, which has gained a devout and loyal fan base, who come every year to a surprising and unique festival.
While the joyful sounds of the summer festival still echo in the memory and heart, the winter edition brings with it, as every year, its elegant uniqueness and international fragrances, which is not found in any other festival in Israel. As always, the curator and artistic director, Dobby Lentz, knows how to identify the most intriguing names in the jazz world, a second before they become household names. Once again, Lentz has chosen with precision a series of shows with an unusual mix, which you will meet in the halls during the three days of the festival.
This year you will meet sounds and artists from Poland, Brazil, Azerbaijan, Spain, Italy, the United States, Argentina and of course Israel. Original productions alongside new album launches, premiere performances at the festival alongside hosting and surprising connections. In the program, you will meet heart-warming salutes to jazz classics and legends, alongside a spotlight on up-and-coming names that you can then proudly say where you first saw them.

סוף שבוע שלם של חגיגת צלילים משובחת ואינטימית מרחבי העולם ומכאן – מחכה לכם בגרסת החורף החמימה והמלטפת של אילת. זו השנה ה-12 (!) של מהדורת החורף אשר קנתה לה קהל אוהדים אדוק ונאמן, המגיע כל שנה לפסטיבל מפתיע וייחודי.
בעוד צליליו הצוהלים של פסטיבל הקיץ עודם מהדהדים בזכרון ובלב, מהדורת החורף מביאה איתה, כמדי שנה, את הייחוד האלגנטי והניחוחות הבין לאומיים שלה, שאין בשום פסטיבל אחר בארץ. כמו תמיד, האוצר והמנהל האמנותי, דובי לנץ, יודע לזהות את השמות המסקרנים ביותר בעולם הג׳אז, שניה לפני שהם הופכים לשם דבר. גם הפעם בחר לנץ בדייקנות שורה של מופעים בתמהיל יוצא דופן, אותם תפגשו באולמות במהלך שלושת ימי הפסטיבל.
השנה תפגשו צלילים ואמנים מפולין, ברזיל, אזרביג׳אן, ספרד, איטליה, ארצות הברית, ארגנטינה וכמובן מישראל. הפקות מקור לצד השקות אלבומים חדשים, ביצועים בבכורה בפסטיבל לצד אירוחים וחיבורים מפתיעים. בתוכנית תפגשו הצדעות מחממות לב לקלאסיקות ולאגדות ג׳אז, לצד זרקור על שמות עולים שאחר כך תוכלו להגיד בגאווה היכן ראיתם אותם לראשונה.
