Ravid Plotnik popularly known as Nechi Nech, arrives at the Goldstar Soundsystem Festival to celebrate his new album ‘And Now for the Artistic Part’, with special guests and guest performers.
Ravid is one of the best-known and beloved rappers and creators in the country, an artist who has grown from the ground and died in death for years, with dignified performances and a devoted audience of small, remote clubs that have grown in size with each album.
His music blends personal and dark materials with poignant and groundbreaking statements. Thanks to a lot of humor, criticism, depth and stage charisma he was one of the most prominent voices and performers in Israeli music.
To date, Plotnik has released five albums. The new album “Now for the Artistic Part” and the fifth in number was launched in July 2019 at two different amphitheater shows for which all tickets were sold out in advance.
A full and fresh album that Ravid conducted artistically alongside Yishai Suissa, who is first released under his full name, without the least of the popular nickname he has stuck to since the early days in Petah Tikva. The new album features songs produced by Nir Danan, Tuna, Yaya Cohen Aharonov, Yishai Suissa and other Ehud Banai and Uncle Tse symposiums, hosted by Jimbo Jay and Sima Noon, and the same familiar and beloved Nechi spirit found somewhere between Kendrick and Mar, Damian Marley and Aris Sun.
